Summer might be over, but the fun doesn’t have to stop.

1. Scarborough Jazz Festival, North Yorkshire

2. The Old Harry Swim Challenge, Studland, Dorset

Scheduled for September 21st, 2024, with a backup date on September 22nd, this event takes place at Knoll Beach, Studland, Dorset. Swimmers can choose between a 2.5km swim from Old Harry Rocks back to Knoll Beach, which includes a thrilling powerboat ride, or a 5km swim to and from Old Harry Rocks. 3. The Something Wild Festival, South Hams, Devon

Aiming to bring people together through sports, this family friendly festival of trail running and swimming includes a forest school, fire pit, and live music at a campsite – it runs from 30th August to 1st September.

4. The World Black Pudding Throwing Championships, Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester

This September 11th, an ancient grudge will be celebrated between Yorkshire and Lancashire as competitors throw Black Puddings at a pile of Yorkshire Puddings on a 20-foot-high plinth. It sounds like a lot of fun and will definitely be a memorable spectacle.
